1937 Ford Pick-up
The engine is an LS6 468 Cid with dual quad set up with a big camshaft and valve train. The heads have been fully ported and polished. For sure the bottom end is well built to handle 800 hp with custom engine cover. No mention of what transmission it has. However it must be an automatic with some beef as we can only see a brake pedal.
The chassis has everything one would want. Willwood disc brakes all around seems to be the stopping power behind this power truck. To get the power to the ground it has a 4-link rear suspension with a 9-inch Ford nodular rear differential and Detroit locker on a custom built chassis with Mustang 2 power steering. If that’s not enough it sits on an Air Ride Technology air ride system. The tires are HUGE! The rears are 20×16 – that is a lot of tire!
The interior has a sense of taste with its ultra-leather tan suede with ostrich accents. The painted dash looks cool with custom gauges. The door panels are simple as is the console. Power windows is a must on those hot days to cool you off.
The truck was recently featured on the TV show Car Crazy! I think it was wallet crazy! This build has to be well over $130,000 considering it is a full custom build including the body.
