I am sure you just do not go to your local rebuild shop to have the differential rebuilt along with the transmission. The time spent finding a shop to rebuild these components, could have taken longer than the time to rebuild. The price of chrome is almost higher than the price of gold. When you chrome items like the grill, bumper, tow hooks, and other cosmetic items you can spend upwards of $5,000.
