1969 Pontiac GTO Judge
The Carousel Red paint was very popular in its day with the symbolic Judge badging and strips. The body looks very nice and the fit of the body panels appears to be good. The Ram 3 hood looks aggressive! If you get a very nice car with little to no bodywork you can spend $15k for a body up restoration for paint and body, and $20k for a body off restored body. These cars were prone to rust in the front windshield, rear glass, and trunk areas. Any rust on these types of cars can get costly quick.
This car takes a really big hit on its value just because the 400 V8 engine is not the original for the car and no mention if the replaced engine is period correct for the model year. The engine bay is clean and detailed as one would expect. It is a 4 speed car which is very desirable and brings added value to the car.
The interior could use some detailing in the kick panel area and center console. The bucket seats in black goes well with the body color. Any interior required for this car is readily available through many sources at reasonable pricing.
The car has PHS papers which is a very good document to have to cross reference and inspect its correctness. Since this is a coupe the value is much less than a convertible, however still highly sought after. You can easily spend $50,000 on the restoration of one of these cars.
