1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Fastback
This 1970 Big Boss 429 is one of 52 produced in Grabber Green, and sports a Black decor group interior complete with the convenience group, Philco AM radio, Rim Blow steering wheel, console, deluxe seat belts, tachometer and electric clock. The interior is pretty clean and mostly original from the pictures. The rim blow steering wheel is as rare as can be! You will probably not see another in a long time.
This Big Boss 429 underwent a comprehensive restoration completed in 2010, featuring mostly original sheet metal. The body and paint looks pretty nice. KK no. 2446 presents a unique opportunity to acquire a Boss 429 in Grabber Green; the second-rarest color produced in 1970, the only year for Grabber-themed paint.
The Boss 429 V-8 engine is topped by the famed Semi-Hemi aluminum heads, and like all 429-equipped Boss Mustangs, this one has the requisite competition suspension, power brakes and power steering. A close ratio 4-speed manual transmission with T-handle Hurst shifter feeds the Drag Pack 3.91:1 Traction-Lok rear end and Goodyear Polyglas GT tires wrap chrome Magnum 500 wheels.
The restoration looks very nice! The cost to build must be well over $100,000 all things considered including the cost to rebuild the Big Boss 429 could cost upwards of $29,995. This could be the opportunity to own a rare colored Big Boss 429.
