1972 Dodge Challenger
April 1–2, 2016
This 1972 Dodge Challenger was “Overhauled” on the hit TV Series Overhaulin’ by Chip Foose on The Learning Channel (TLC) in 2006. The body is very straight with a nice two-tone Hemi Orange & Black with Silver stripe and a high quality clear coat. Also adding to the already aesthetically pleasing look, are a set of Foose design chrome wheels set on performance tires. Powering this Challenger is a 440 ci V8 with Performance Aluminum Cylinder heads. Cooling this 440 off is a 3 core all aluminum radiator. This ’72 Dodge is shouting through a pair of Hooker headers attached to 3-inch stainless exhaust. Moving this Mopar muscle is a 3-speed automatic. Stopping you on quick notice is a complete Wilwood premium big brake 13″ front and 12″ rear disk brake kit.
It has since been dressed-up with American Car Craft, custom one of a kind 392 HEMI fuel rail covers. This car is a sight to see…with custom brakes, custom late model HEMI engine swap and a killer paint job…it is certainly a show winner! Estimated cost to build this wild ride would be $300,000 or more. Just pocket change for networks.
