This 1965 Mustang coupe is a superb example of the first full model year for Mustang production with a few modern improvements. It also has had the same owner for 25 years and it presents in excellent condition throughout while being maintained properly throughout the years.
289-302 V8 with dyno sheets and semi built C4 transmission and dual exhaust. The engine, transmission, rear end, suspension and all related components were all new or rebuilt during the restoration. The engine compartment and chassis have a heavy level of detail. To enhance drivability some suspension upgrades where added during the restoration. It also has an aluminum radiator for excellent cooling even on hot days. Runs and drives excellent. This car handles very well and stops great.
The beautiful white paint on this extremely straight body shows well on this near perfect body. The car was stripped to bare metal and repainted to look original using quality materials for a long lasting investment. All body panels where prepared professionally including the shaved drip rails that gives this car a sleek appearance.
The interior of the car needs to be completed. The headliner and some trim have been installed however the windows in the doors and quarters still need to be cleaned and installed. Many extra parts come with car. Other than the interior has not been completed it is ready.
