Barrett-Jackson Arizona 2015
In 2014, Barrett-Jackson set several records, with 300,000 spectators in attendance, $113 million in sales and a top sale of $3.85 million for a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette L88 2-Door Coupe. In 2015, Barrett-Jackson is poised to topple more records. Ron Pratte, a businessman famous for his elaborate car collection, has selected the Scottsdale auction to sell that collection. This pristine collection includes Carroll Shelby’s personal vehicle – the only remaining 1966 Shelby Cobra Super Snake, which sold for a world record of $5.5 million. “This is arguably the most significant collection ever offered in Barrett-Jackson history,” said Craig Jackson, Chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson.
The Barrett-Jackson auction will run January 10-18, and will include live concerts, Ride ‘N Drives, Thrill Rides, exhibits, displays, and more. And of course this is in addition to the automobilia and collector car auctions.
